Lesley M. Taafe, B.A.(Honours), LL.B
Lesley Mary Taafe has been practicing predominatly in family law for the majority of her career. Her experience and background reflect the hallmarks of success one must demand of an attorney in the competitive Oshawa legal landscape.
Lesley obtained her LLB law degree at Liverpool in the United Kingdom, graduating with an Honours Degree. Lesley then chose to pursue a career as a barrister and attended Chambers in Liverpool.
Since moving to Canada Lesley has completed the National Committee of Accreditation and obtained a Certificate of Qualification from Osgoode Hall Law School. This provides her with a Law Degree from both the United Kingdom and Canada
Kelly, Law Clerk
Kelly is a Law Clerk at Taafe Law. Kelly has a strong work ethic and a passion for excellence. Kelly is dedicated to ensuring client needs are met with her professional and caring approach. Kelly’s personality, experience and skills make her a valuable asset to Taafe Law.
Lori Ackroyd, Real Estate Clerk
Lori is a qualified legal assistant with over 40 years of experience in the real estate field. An expert in all things real estate law, Lori has handled hundreds of files with great success throughout her career. Her confidence, upbeat personality, and extensive knowledge bring a sense of assurance to all of our clients who work with her.
Outside of work, Lori enjoys attending hot yoga classes, golfing, walking her dog Maddie, and traveling to countless destinations with her loved ones.
Jennifer Colangelo, Real Estate Clerk
Jennifer has been working in the real estate field for over 45 years. Jennifer works alongside Lori to ensure no detail is overlooked with our real estate files.
Outside of our office, Jennifer puts top priority on spending time with her family, but also enjoys partaking in games of baseball, swimming, and cooking up a storm in the kitchen.
Robert MacGregor B.A. (Honours), J.D.
Robert John MacGregor’s principal area of practice is Family Law with an additional focus on Real Estate, as well as Wills & Estates. He began articling at Taafe Law Professional Corporation and remained with the firm following his call to the Ontario Bar in 2019.
He attended the University of Western Ontario, where he received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History and Political Science, as well as a Minor in Women & Gender Studies. He completed his Juris Doctor (JD) at the University of Windsor.
While attending law school, Robert was employed as a student worker for Legal Aid Ontario. Furthermore, he worked as a summer student at an Oshawa Legal Aid Clinic. As a result, Robert has developed a keen interest in access to justice.
In his spare time, Robert enjoys staying active, frequenting the gym and actively participating in soccer, baseball, squash and cricket.The clerks of Taafe Law are the backbone of the firm, we are pleased to have such a professional group of individuals working with our lawyers to ensure each client feels as though they are our only client.
